This piece was a birthday gift for my fiance. It contains the words from a Mindfulness gatha that he loves. This piece is collaged from all found images, including maps, wall paper, and torn from an book about cats from the 1970s. I take commissions on pieces like this, which could contain prayers, poems, and passages that you or your loved one appreciates. Just let me know if you are interested.

You have a vocabulary (iconography) of your own. The images reach out, forward and back, from the plane of the page. I want to see them in person so I can appreciate the textures. There's a quality of "cuteness" tempered by "seriousness". Playful and sober ? Leaping and contained? Flat and raised? Child-like and sage-like? Snapshot and narrative? Tactile and ethereal?
